I was believing the lie that I was too much for God to handle. He kindly and firmly spoke to my heart, "Daughter, look up. See the galaxies of stars? I spoke each of them into existence. Everything around you, I created! I made you and I know every detail about you. How are you too much for me?
Instead of becoming more cynical as we grow older, we are to become more hopeful of the good things in people around us. We are to believe they are one encouragement away from a tipping point in their lives.
My belief in a person will motivate them to live up to my trust. Even though they fail me, I can encourage them to keep trying by believing in what God has placed within them. The first place to start increasing in trust is with God.
Ask God, "How can I strengthen my net to bring in the harvest?" We get to give Him something to work with. After reading and researching the Bible and revival history, it is clear that the God of the universe has chosen to use relationships to birth His plans on the earth!
Good beliefs about dating and relationships can lead to a very successful relationship as well as making the process much more enjoyable. Bad beliefs about dating and relationships can lead to hopelessness, short circuiting relationships, or not even being able to enter one, or at least a healthy one.
Authority is realized when a Christian is convinced in their heart that they are a child of God—partakers of the Divine Nature.
Strongholds can be healthy or unhealthy. They can be good or bad it depends on what they are. If you make strongholds based on your core values such as, ‘God is good’ and ‘There is always a solution,' then those are healthy strongholds of thinking. But if you have strongholds of negative thinking such as, ‘No one likes me’ or ‘I'm alone’, you might find yourself miserable and friendless.
Faith is not sitting back and waiting for God to bring everything to us. There are seasons where God calls us to wait on Him and let Him brings things to us, but for the most part, God’s voice is like a key that unlocks doors for us to be intentional about walking through. This is a picture of rest. Rest is in His voice. We will live in rest when we live in response to His voice.
