We are called to be incessant hope speakers, and declarations help make this a reality in our lives.
"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says" (Mark 11:23).
We are pulled in the direction of the words we speak. Our words are indeed a rudder to cause us to be directed toward the things we say.
James 4:3 says this: “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.” Here is an example where the answer to prayer is no.
“One thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead” (Philippians 3:13).
There will be a crack in our spiritual foundation if we put more faith in Satan’s power to attack us than in God’s power to protect us.
